A central point in solid oak supports the iconic Trefoil round table by Form & Refine, setting up a certain contradiction between the lightness and the weight of the table. The block of three legs adds both a design edge and a certain visual complexity. The three legs allow people to sit around the table without anyone's legs getting in the way. The table is made to suit every need - for entertaining, as a desk or for private use.
Designer: Herman Studio was founded in 2012 by two architects, Helle Herman Mortensen and Jonas Herman Pedersen. Their work spans textiles, ceramics, lighting and furniture design through to interior decoration. One hallmark of their design is the clear silhouette of their objects. Working with a clear silhouette for each object allows the design to stand out simply and to be easily recognisable. Their great passion for design goes beyond aesthetics and focuses above all on construction and the use of materials. They work to a precise process between sketches, models and prototypes. Their design process often begins with the study of construction methods, which plays a central role throughout the design process. Their workshop has therefore become a natural part of the studio!
