Materials: timber sourced from sustainably managed European forests (PEFC certificate no. 07-31-60). The tabletop has a solid laminated fir core, veneered with natural oak and protected by a water-based varnish, the legs and support beams are made of steel, a material that is both highly durable and infinitely recyclable (it is the most recycled material in the world).
Few components, all of which are useful, robust and easily repairable if necessary.

The NEW MODERN table system expands the classic TIPTOE range and its table legs by offering new uses, including the round table. The name NEW MODERN is a tribute to the "Modern" movement that shaped the history of architecture and furniture between 1950 and 1980, with clean-lined furniture that was both beautiful and highly functional and hard-wearing.
A NEW MODERN table consists of 2 steel leg frames into which two stainless steel support beams are fitted. The tabletop sits on the structure, where it is screwed into place.
NEW MODERN is the result of a year of work and iterations to develop a modular table system that is as effective in functional and industrial terms as it is in terms of sustainability. The NEW MODERN wooden tabletops are made in Poland and the steel leg frames in Bulgaria, while all the precision mechanical parts and assembly components come from our family workshops in France, near Chamonix.
Final assembly takes place in France at an ESAT, a medico-social establishment working for the social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities.
The New Modern round table is available in 3 different materials: eco-certified wood, laminate and recycled plastic, each available in several different colours.
