The Danish HAY design house invites us into its world of pure Scandinavian minimalism. Originally designed by Friso Kramer while working for Ahrend in the 1950s, the Revolt chair was relaunched by HAY with Ahrend. One of Friso Kramer's most famous models, the Revolt chair embodies his distinctive minimalist style. A revolutionary design and choice of materials that uses a folded sheet steel frame instead of a traditional tubular frame.

Reproduced today using the same process, the chair retains the functionality and resilient construction of its mid-century forerunner, but in a durable material choice including a blend of post-consumer recycled and virgin ABS material in a variety of colour options. The Revolt chair is a dynamic and flexible chair, its ergonomic design moves with the user. The Revolt chair will provide active support when working, eating or sitting at conferences. The Revolt chair has a wide seat and a curved backrest for optimal comfort. Its lightly curved legs create additional stability.
