Rectangular table in oak and varnished raw steel 140x80cm 55 - Tolix

In 1955, Jean Pauchard set out in search of his Table. "The leg, it's the leg that counts," he exclaimed. He designed a first model of a rectangular leg in white, then from 1960 onwards he refined it and gave it its current, more elegant form. The T55 table was born. Its tapered, conical legs, made entirely of steel, lend it an airy grace while attesting to the durability of its construction. On this two-material version, TOLIX plays on the contrast of form and material: its steel legs are replaced by conical wooden legs, while the rectangular tabletop remains in steel. This blending of genres gives it a contemporary and warm spirit. Available in different lengths – 140 cm, 200 cm and 240 cm – it adapts to every space, asserting its presence with refined subtlety.
