The design of this rug was drawn by hand, like brushstrokes, by French designer and set designer Piergil Fourquié.
Its irregularities have been faithfully reproduced on the rug, knotted by our Indian artisans.
Of all the manufacturing techniques, hand-knotting is the most complex craft technique, making it possible to faithfully reproduce the most intricate designs down to the smallest detail.
In total, more than 60,000 knots and almost 200 hours of work were needed to reproduce the original drawing.
This technique guarantees the fineness of the rugs' weave and their great durability.
