The WET POT system makes caring for your plants easier, while doubling as a beautiful decorative object. The WET POT consists of a glass vase with an opening for pouring in water and an earthenware pot that regulates the water supply through capillary action. The Medium pot is suited to all kinds of plants and flowers, such as hibiscus, palms and Mediterranean plants, among others.
The WET POT was designed by Nils Plöjel in Höganäs, Sweden. In this town renowned for its pottery, Plöjel has worked with ceramics all his life.
The system is based on simple laws of nature: the plant absorbs moisture through a pot specially designed to dispense exactly the amount of water the plant needs. This natural phenomenon, known as capillary action, regulates moisture levels consistently.
In any case, here at The Cool, we love this elegant and cleverly thought-out Swedish design!
