The Taunton wall light plays on verticality. Its steel structure traces a slender line along the wall, topped with a cylindrical white linen lampshade that softens the light and lends it a warm hue.
The contrast between metal and fabric is what gives this light its balance. The polished nickel finish picks up the reflections of the room and adds a subtle sparkle, while the fabric diffuses an enveloping beam, both upwards and downwards. Its shallow projection allows it to sit in narrow passageways without obstructing the way.
Designed for indoor use, it finds its place on either side of a mirror, in a hallway, above a console table or at the head of a bed. Two units installed symmetrically reinforce the composition and bring rhythm to a bare wall.
