Dark brown resin and glass pendant light 18x15cm Hinx - Normann Copenhagen

The Hinx light draws inspiration from the childhood memories of Simon Legald, Head of Design, when he played hopscotch with "hinkesten"; it translates that playful, nostalgic spirit into a contemporary light. Its design rests on the meeting of contrasting elements: a softly glowing opal glass lampshade paired with a solid ring-shaped block set behind it, bringing both depth and a subtle touch of colour. The whole plays on the contrast between translucency and mass: the delicately frosted glass diffuses the light evenly, while the weightier element anchors the design with its sculptural presence. Despite this playful reference, the Hinx light retains a serene, refined allure, allowing it to sit naturally within a variety of interiors. As a pendant light, it combines simplicity with character, offering a warm light and a distinctive atmosphere while acting as a graphic feature within the space.
