Felt ball rug pastel multicoloured 70 cm Greta - myfelt

Felt ball rugs have arrived at The Cool Republic: meet the German brand myfelt, whose relaxed, fresh approach to design was bound to win us over.

Made in keeping with fair trade principles, the Greta collection is built from large felt balls, each one individually handmade.

A genuine eye-catcher, its felt balls in pastel shades and a vibrant green bring a breath of summer into your home.
As well as being a refreshing piece, Greta instantly conveys a sense of modernity and conviviality.

Its round shape gives it a touch of originality: it will easily find its place in the centre of a living room or a bedroom, and its bright, cheerful colours will heighten that effect.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

At the very start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a factory in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading organisations campaigning for a fair rug industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of over 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting technique specially developed by myfelt.

A beautiful decorative object made to the highest fair trade standards – now there's an idea that takes you places!
