The Sphera mirror collection by Jean-Baptiste Fastrez is a contemporary interpretation of a technical device used to build mirrored walls.
Highly fashionable in the first half of the 20th century, the mirror clip has since been reduced to its function alone, and today it is little more than a kind of mirror fixing sold in the bathroom aisle
of DIY stores. A genuine system, Sphera reconnects with the decorative tradition
of this technical element made invisible, giving it an unexpected sculptural dimension and exceptional flexibility.
