Outdoor bench in orange steel South - Magis

Precision is the very essence of Konstantin Grcic's work, and his new collection, South, designed for outdoor use but perfect indoors too, is no exception. ‎ Made from steel tube and wire treated by cataphoresis and powder-coated, it is available in several colours: orange, burgundy, light blue and midnight blue. ‎
Sinuous and minimal, the collection comprises an armchair, a low armchair, a bench and a low bench, all fitted with armrests. ‎ It also includes four tables (200x120 cm with a slatted teak top, 200x90.160x90 and 90x90 cm with a sheet steel top) and two coffee tables (120x120 cm with a slatted teak top or in lava stone glazed with recycled coloured glass, and 90x90 cm with a sheet steel top). ‎ The collection also features woven mats for the seats, rugs, baskets and a throw, all in the same outdoor-suitable fabric. ‎
As always, Konstantin Grcic combines formal rigour with a keen sense of design and architecture, and demonstrates his passion for technology through meticulous materials research and craftsmanship that is both creative and practical. ‎
The curved, welcoming lines of the South collection make its direct and unconventional invitation to relax explicit, resulting in dynamic comfort. ‎ To make the seats even more comfortable, a full woven mat (seat and backrest) can be attached to the shell with Velcro, offering a chic and practical alternative to classic cushions. ‎
