Inspired by Danish hygge, designer Simon Legald created the Hyg furniture series.
The concept of hygge is all about feeling good; safety, warmth and comfort are all part of its DNA, and it is precisely these qualities that form the blueprint for the Hyg collection.

In the Hyg collection, the chair consists of a high-strength polypropylene shell that is mounted with four screws and cups onto a base in natural or black-stained oak.

The moments when we sit down together, immerse ourselves in conversation and share a meal are, for the designer, hugely important moments. It was therefore only natural that the Hyg range should also provide the setting for these moments. The feeling of well-being is not only linked to the visual experience of the design, it lies in the overall sensory experience. A great deal of effort has gone into sculpting the shape to ensure rest and support for the human body, so that it is comfortable to sit on.
Available in a wide range of colours.
