Natural birch figurine hippopotamus I Piccolini - EMKO

The I Piccolini collection was born out of a love of nature and wild animals. Each animal represents a different natural habitat, such as Antarctica, the Arctic Sea, the African savannah and others.
They all started out as a harmonious composition of geometric shapes, beginning with the sphere and ending with a particular focus on formal simplicity. The animals are made from hardwood and hardwood offcuts, giving them unique colours, patterns and textures, so that no two animals are alike. The use of sustainable design practices not only reflects the need to protect the environment in which we live, but also serves as a reminder that things can be both beautiful and long-lasting.
The result is a charming group of cute, fun wooden animals, each with its own personality, story and emotion, making them a perfect gift for adults and children alike.
