Made according to fair trade principles, the Hella collection is composed of large felt balls, each one crafted individually by hand.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, considered one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

Right at the start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a workshop in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are indeed approved by GoodWeave, one of the most important associations working towards a fair trade rug industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of more than 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting process specially developed by myfelt.
