myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

Right at the start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a workshop in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading associations working towards a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of over 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting process specially developed by myfelt.
