The Flipster by Wigiwama belongs to that family of soft furniture designed for living spaces shared with children. Folded, it forms a low seat where one settles informally; unfolded, it reveals a long, soft surface laid on the floor, ideal for reading, napping or playing. One object, two uses, switched from one to the other with a simple gesture.
Its lightness changes the way one inhabits a room. It moves from bedroom to living room, stores against a wall when the floor needs to be clear again, goes wherever the day unfolds. Nothing to assemble, nothing to adjust: the form lends itself naturally to what is expected of it.
The Biscuit colourway introduces a warm and discreet shade, easy to pair with pale walls as well as natural woods. The Flipster blends into a child's bedroom without confining it to a childish register, and also finds its place in a living room where one likes to sit close to the floor.
