TAFLA C is an avant-garde interpretation of a drop of water. The objects in the C series have expressive, characteristic contours that provoke the senses and the reflections of light. The irregular deformation of the edges is unique as elle is caused by the free deformation of the metal under the pressure of air. These are stories of reflections and stories of reflections in individual objects and constellations.
The meticulous study of metal deformation gave rise to à la Oskar Zięta's FiDU technology. TAFLA C is one of the objects produced in FiDU, also known as the volumetric expansion effect. The result of this dimensional change is achieved by injecting compressed air between two thin steel sheets. TAFLA is pumped with air to obtain its final three-dimensional shape, with unique convexities at the edges.
Whether elle is installed or suspended, TAFLA C is a work of art that blends perfectly into the space, thanks to extraordinary stories reflected in glossy surfaces framed by subtle irregularities. Depending on its finish, TAFLA C enters into a formidable dialogue with modern interiors. This mirror-like sculpture expresses its essence in polished stainless steel brillant from collection Zieta in its base and diverse finishes: Deep Red and Dark Matter from collection Transitions, intriguing interpretations of green and blue from collection Gradient or regal prints from Aurum.
TAFLA C can be a unique object or a unique constellation, composed of a dedicated wall. Uniqueness is inherent à la irreplaceable convexity of TAFLA's edges, as well as à la composition of the object. TAFLA C is combine perfectly matched to TAFLA O, interacting subtly with the exposed surface.
