Black perforated decorative bowl Matégot - Gubi

Gubi has been an iconic Danish design publishing house since it was founded in 1967.

Ahead of his time and with a modern spirit, Mathieu Matégot designed his contemporary Matégot bowl in 1953. The distinctive look of the see-through metal adds an air of lightness to this unique, spacious fruit bowl. As with many of Matégot's creations, the Matégot bowl is defined by Rigitulle, a material that is both strong and light; a fine perforated sheet metal akin to metal lace, where the inspiration is drawn from the material itself to explore every kind of expression that can be created.

This luxurious material allowed Matégot to transform the ordinary fruit bowl into an artistic, decorative piece that, as well as holding fruit elegantly, also serves as a great design statement to decorate any room. The Matégot bowl is a simple, elegant way to add a touch of colour to any decor.
