Gubi is an emblematic publishing house of the Danish design, since its creation in 1967.
Ahead of its time and with a modern esprit, Mathieu Matégot designed its contemporary Matégot bowl in 1953. The aspect characteristic transparent metal adds an expression of lightness to this spacious unique fruit bowl. As with many of Matégot's creations, the Matégot bowl is marked by Rigitulle, a material à la both strong and light; a fine perforated sheet equivalent to metal lace, where inspiration is drawn from the material itself to explore all kinds of expressions possible at créer.
This luxurious material has allowed Matégot to transform the usual fruit bowl into an artistic and decorative bowl which, in plus elegantly preserves fruit, also serves as a piece of grand design to decorate any room. The Matégot bowl is a simple and elegant way to add a touch of color to any decor.
