Pierre-François Dubois, a designer well accustomed to collaborating with Hartô, drew inspiration for this new piece from the world of the sea. It was indeed the maritime universe, and boats in particular, that guided him in this exploration of form. The low curve of the sideboard thus echoes that of a sailing boat's hull, while the engraving on the sliding panels evokes the lines of its sails. This graphic quality will sit just as beautifully with a herringbone parquet floor as with a more contemporary one. While the body of the sideboard is made exclusively from oak, the doors are offered by The Cool Republic in three finishes: natural oak, petrol blue and light grey.
