The Ridge vase by Muuto plays with a tall, elongated silhouette whose profile broadens in width more than in depth. Designed by studio Kaksikko, it owes its name to the ridge that structures the volume and catches the light differently depending on the viewing angle.
This version is made from mouth-blown glass then acid-treated, giving the surface a frosted appearance and a matte feel. The pale orange hue hints at the stems inside without revealing them clearly, and softens the light passing through the wall.
Its height makes it a piece that stands on its own, placed on the floor near a seat or as a focal point on a console. It accommodates a few graphic branches as well as a generous bouquet, and retains its presence when empty.
