myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

At the very start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a factory in Nepal. It is then washed several times before being dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading organisations campaigning for a fair rug industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which may consist of more than 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting technique specially developed by myfelt.
