Its re-edition is faithful to the original: the base and stem, available in chrome or anthracite, are made of steel, a difficult material to work with, typical of the industry of that era. In the 1970s, mastering steel bending was a real innovation, a major challenge that still persists today. This is why Lauro is also a contemporary design, as it highlights the technical prowess of half a century ago. Its methacrylate shade is available in translucent opal, diffusing a soft light, or in two-layer black for direct lighting.
