The chair is cast in lightweight fiber concrete, which creates a texture of surface unique and increases the overall mobility of the chair. Highlighting the delicate balance between clean architectural lines and Japanese aesthetics, the Kamado chair is a sculptural piece that features compelling seating comfort.

Named after traditional Japanese clay ovens, the Kamado Chair puts accent Japanese aesthetics unique into a minimalist concrete fiber lounge chair. Kamado means "place for the cauldron" and traditional ovens were built directly on sol with clay. The openings of air around the level of sol created the impression of a ensemble of legs, which was used as a reference for the front legs of the Kamado Chair. A kind of asymmetry, usually found in early ovens, is emphasized in the Kamado Chair with the one-sided armrest for increased and relaxing seating comfort.
