Jade green glass vase Gemstone - HKLIVING

Resembling an oversized precious stone, this glass vase combines crisp lines with soft, faceted surfaces. Its gently angled planes catch and diffuse the light, giving the piece depth and movement from every angle. Sculptural in its presence yet functional in its use, it stands beautifully on its own or can be used as a vase for branches or flowers – a centrepiece that is both refined and raw.

Working with glass artist Nienke Sikkema was less a collaboration than an immersion in another universe. Her world is one of fluid timescales, controlled chaos and forms that seem to sculpt the light. Together, we created a collection of glass objects that evoke contemporary precious stones – dense, luminous and slightly untameable.
