The Ollie pendant light plays on the contrast between an iron frame and a lampshade of woven natural fibres. The wide disc of pale wicker filters the light from its three sources, casting graphic patterns of shadow across both ceiling and floor. Its low, wide-open silhouette gives it a horizontal presence that never weighs down a space.
Finished in aged gold leaf, the frame brings a discreet warmth that echoes the honeyed tones of the weave. The language is both natural and contemporary, equally at home above a dining table, in a generous entrance hall or at the centre of a living room dressed in soft materials.
The suspension chain allows the height to be adjusted to suit the room, from an installation close to the ceiling to a pronounced drop above a table top. Designed for indoor use, it takes three small-cap candle bulbs for a soft, enveloping light.
