About the author
Barbara Hitchcock is Director of Cultural Affairs at Polaroid in Waltham, Massachusetts. In this role, she is responsible for the acquisition of fine art photography, travelling exhibitions and collections worth several million dollars. She has curated several national exhibitions and is currently a member of the Photography Collection Committee at the Harvard University Museums in Cambridge.
