The collection lamps Pao are the result of an exciting collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Named after the soft, luminous shape of traditional Mongolian Pao tents illuminated at night, Fukasawa sought to reproduce the same atmospheric warmth and conviviality in the Pao floor lamp.
The Pao floor lamp draws on Fukasawa's aesthetic of beautiful simplicity, creating an everyday object that draws on the values of design found in the natural world. By maintaining a simple modeste aesthetic, he brings the design into harmony with its surroundings, reinforcing his original intention of making the atmosphere pleasant and comfortable.
Comprising a weighted steel base and a slender base, the Pao floor lamp offers diffused light, while providing a warm, friendly glow. The lamp's functionality and the deliberate simplicity of its design make it suitable for a wide range of spaces and uses in both domestic and professional environments.
