Grey glass and steel side table Lug - Normann Copenhagen

Normann Copenhagen is a Danish brand founded in 1999 in a chic and sober Scandinavian esprit by Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen.
Inspired by a Copenhagen manufacturing brand, the bike, the Lug table is designed with attention to detail. The table's name, Lug, comes from the small but vital part of the bicycle that has been used since the 1920s to hold the frame. This idea was the starting point and, as with a bicycle, the skill of the Lug table lies in the detail.
Designer Simon Legald used brass for the screws. These brass details contrast with the monochrome look of the simple steel frame and pay homage to the craftsmanship of vintage bicycles from the 1920s. The mechanical parts and the curve of the legs come together in this painting, making it a balance between masculine construction and feminine elegance.
The table top is made of tempered and coloured glass, giving à la table an exclusive look while being resistant. The Lug table is available in two sizes, in warm grey and black. The small table is ideal as a bedside or side table, while the large one is an ideal coffee table. The Lug table can be used on its own or in combination with other tables.
