The Nordic Carnival mug by Broste Copenhagen adopts the codes of the Danish everyday table: a simple shape, a distinct handle, a capacity designed for both morning coffee and afternoon tea. Its slightly slender silhouette sits comfortably in the hand and naturally finds its place alongside the other pieces in the Nordic Carnival family.
It is made from reactive glazed stoneware, a technique where the glaze reacts during firing and creates unique nuances for each piece. The green and white colour scheme plays on this contrast: the tones blend, concentrate in some areas, lighten in others. Two mugs are therefore never quite identical, which gives the whole set a workshop feel rather than a mass-produced one.
Placed on an open shelf or lined up on a breakfast table, it adds a touch of colour without disrupting the balance of an existing service. It can be chosen alone, for personal use, or multiplied to create a set with subtle variations.
