Pine chair with armrests Golden Daumiller - Gubi

The Daumiller chair is a classic of 1970s Danish design. Solid in its construction, simple in its form and sculptural in its expression, the direct materiality and robust composition of the Daumiller chair pay tribute to Rainer Daumiller's affinity with natural materials and shapes.

Built from durable solid pine, just as the original pieces produced by the Hirtshals sawmill were in 1977, the seat and back are ergonomically shaped to the contours of the body, which only adds to the bold, retro expression of this Danish design classic.

Inspired by the traditional Danish milking stool as well as by Hans J. Wegner's China Chair, Daumiller set out to create a chair capable of withstanding children's games and adults' parties alike, while having a sculptural form that exudes strength and timelessness.
