PH it is simply the name given to this suspension imagined by the designer Poul Henningsen. Louis Poulsen This luminaire is the result of the collaboration between the designer and the house of design, which began in the mid-twenties and will last until à la end of his life in 1967. The concept is based on the need for Poul Henningsen to créer an indirect and diffuse light. He imagined several shades superimposed and curved downwards, each one reducing the luminous flux which traverse, to create a complex play of shadows which lets escape a soft and homogeneous ambient light. It is a design unique, which propels this collaboration to the forefront of the lighting world and generates a production of nearly a thousand models PH through time.
