Mirror in gold brass 53 x 158 cm Nimbus - Audo

Taking inspiration from the way a picture or painting is framed, Copenhagen-based design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen set out to explore how a full frame could surround a mirror without detracting from the beauty and reflection of the glass. The result is Nimbus, a refreshingly simple mirror in brass and light-reflecting glass, which defines a space through its soothing, sophisticated shape. As its name suggests: in Greek mythology, Nimbus was a bright cloud or crown that often surrounded a deity while on Earth. Encircled by a halo-like brass ring, held in place by decorative screws, the mirror adds to the sense of light and space in a room.
