Tips : To protect your mattress and keep it in good condition, we recommend using a sheet. To ensure the futon retains its shape, is well ventilated and remains flat, you should turn it over and rotate it regularly. We recommend turning the futon through 180 degrees, swapping the head and foot ends, approximately every 3 to 4 weeks. If necessary, the surface can be vacuumed to remove dust. For stains, use a slightly damp, colourless cloth with a small amount of clear washing-up liquid. Gently dab the affected area and remove any excess moisture with a dry cloth or kitchen roll.

Our Comfort futon is a 15 cm thick cotton mattress with a PU foam core. By adding 5 to 10% polyester to our cotton, we guarantee a higher density and thickness than traditional Japanese futons. However, it retains all the qualities of a traditional Japanese futon. The Comfort futon will offer you medium-firm sleeping comfort. The cotton of the futon will adapt to the contours of your body and support it, while the foam core will isolate light movements. Please note that all our futons are handmade; you may therefore notice slight differences in size and weight.
