The footstool from the Puffy lounge collection with its generous and plump form overflows freely on the sides of a tubular steel frame which, by contrast, is hard and solid. The two key elements of this seat designed by Faye Toogood are juxtaposed in a deliberate and playful way.
The elementary frame draws inspiration from the rational structure of classic modernist design, whilst the extravagant, duvet-like padding warmly embraces and envelops, is comforting and reassuring.
