Made according to fair trade principles, the Hardy collection is crafted from large felt balls, each one made individually by hand.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the finest of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

At the very start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a workshop in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are moreover approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading organisations campaigning for a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of more than 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting technique specially developed by myfelt.
