Green-beige felt ball rug 90 cm Big One - myfelt

Felt ball rugs have arrived at The Cool Republic: meet German brand myfelt, whose relaxed, fresh approach to design was bound to win us over.

Committed to fair trade, the Big One collection is made from large felt balls, each individually handmade.

As an unexpected eye-catcher, a single orange felt ball completes this beautiful round rug in a beige shade with green undertones.

Its round shape gives it a touch of originality: it will easily find its place at the centre of a living room or a bedroom, and its bright, cheerful colours will heighten this delightful effect.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

At the very start of the manufacturing process, the wool is carded in a factory in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are moreover approved by GoodWeave, one of the most important associations for a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is brought by hand into its final shape over several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of as many as 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting process specially developed by myfelt.

A beautiful decorative piece made to the highest fair trade standards – now there's an idea that takes you places!
