Beige felt ball rug 140x200 cm Big One - myfelt

Felt ball rugs have arrived at The Cool Republic: meet myfelt, a brand with a fresh, laid-back approach to design that we simply couldn't resist.

Made in keeping with fair trade principles, the Big One collection is crafted from large felt balls, each one individually handmade.

As an unexpected eye-catcher, a single blue felt ball completes this beautiful beige rug.

Its rectangular shape gives it a touch of originality: it will easily find its place at the heart of a living room or a bedroom, while its bright, cheerful colours will enhance this happy effect.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the finest of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

At the very start of the manufacturing process, the wool is treated at a factory in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are moreover approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading associations working for a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of as many as 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting process specially developed by myfelt.

A beautiful decorative piece made to the highest fair trade standards – now there's an idea that takes you places!
