Moai is an outdoor lamp in which form and light work together to give pride of place to this surprising and innovative union. Moai can be used for commercial as well as residential projects. Its creativity lies less in the choice of material than in the shape Gonzalo Milà gives it and in the way light interacts with and penetrates that shape. And here comes the interesting surprise: the entire concave surface of Moai is illuminated, leaving no corner in darkness. "Outdoor bollards light up the ground or themselves, but without playing with form," explains Gonzalo.
