Roots 90 is the very essence of Karup Design's DNA: you don't just get a sofa, but also a bed and a comfortable lounge chair. By lowering the front legs and adjusting the backrest, you get a soft lounge chair. By lowering the backrest completely, you have a lovely bed where you can recharge your batteries, grounded to the floor. Raise the backrest, fold the mattress, and you now have a lounge chair of standard height. Roots 90 transforms quickly and easily, as if by magic. Do you get the idea? Please note that all our futon products are handmade, so you may notice slight differences in size and weight.

Care : The knots in this natural wood furniture are unique features and contribute to the charm of each piece. No two pieces are alike. You can expect the natural wood surfaces to change over time when constantly exposed to the climate, sunlight and fluctuations in humidity.General wood care: do not place hot objects on the furniture; do not place candles directly on the furniture; wipe up any spills immediately with a damp cloth; check regularly that screws and fixings are tight. Our blended fabric is made from 80 per cent cotton and 20 per cent polyester.
