Roots 90 embodies the very essence of Karup Design's DNA: you get not only a sofa, but also a bed and a comfortable armchair. By lowering the front legs and adjusting the backrest, you get a wonderfully soft armchair. By lowering the backrest completely, you get a cosy bed in which to recharge, firmly grounded on the floor. Raise the backrest, fold the mattress over, and you get an armchair of standard height. Roots 90 transforms quickly and easily, as if by magic. You get the idea? Tips : Wood is a natural, living material, and its knots and natural variations give each piece a unique character. No two pieces are exactly alike. Over time, the wood will develop a patina and naturally adapt to its surroundings, including light, climate and humidity. Do not place hot objects or candles directly on the surface. Wipe up any spilled liquid immediately using a damp cloth. Check regularly that screws and fixings are tight. Fabric: if necessary, the fabric can be vacuumed to remove dust and small particles. For stains, use a damp cloth with a small amount of clear washing-up liquid and gently clean the affected area. Always use a clean, undyed cloth to dry the stain. Avoid getting the fabric wet.
