Structured, modular, imposing. Metra is a suspended architectural piece that translates urban verticality into a luminous object with a strong and distinctive character. Three geometric volumes stack in an ascending rhythm, evoking vertical urban landscapes, the rigour of fortified towers, and the monumental order of the Metropolis imagined by Fritz Lang. Its concealed complexity stems from bold craftsmanship: each ceramic element is individually moulded with complex moulds allowing polychrome finishes in different shades. This modularity is aesthetic but also functional: each volume can become an autonomous pendant, allowing bespoke light compositions. The grooved surfaces and ceramic finishes accentuate the interplay of shadows and reflections, while light is directed with precision downwards, with sculptural rigour. Metra is far more than a lamp: it is an architectural lighting system, a modular construction that interacts with space.
