White 1-drawer desk My Writing Desk - Emko

Designer Inesa Malafej offers us an inventive and innovative workspace with this My Writing Desk. Wanting to make use of the full surface of the top, she chose to house the desk's carcass within a kind of shell – a tray for the tabletop, as it were. In doing so, she creates an intermediate space dedicated to temporary storage along three of the four edges of the piece. Cleverly and functionally, openings have been provided for the cables of your connected devices, while a closed drawer at the front will house your small objects and other accessories. The base carries the piece with lightness, and the white lacquered finish of the carcass is echoed in the upper section of the legs, lending the whole a considered, contemporary look. This superb desk will, we hope, be the setting for many wonderful hours of concentration, work and invention. The Cool Republic offers it in several finishes with, as always, that resolutely design-led spirit that so won us over. This piece has also received numerous awards, including the iF Concept Design Award as well as the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
