Brass and glass table lamp 41x48.5cm Cabaret - Maytoni

The "Cabaret" lighting collection is the result of a collaboration between the Pierre Gonalons design studio and the German lighting brand Maytoni. It embodies the atmosphere of a modern cabaret – an artistic space of luminous genres, filled with sophisticated details. The soft lines of the metal base of the lighting take their inspiration from graceful dance movements and the ideal proportions of stage fashion. The silhouette of the clear glass lampshade draws on the image of graceful nudity and the flowing dynamics of weightless textiles. The centrepiece of the series – a table lamp – sets the intimate mood of a comfortably lit table, filled with anticipation of a breathtaking show. "Cabaret" lighting captures the charm of the refined atmosphere of a chamber theatre performance steeped in history, for a discerning audience. The pendant lights, wall lights, table lamps and floor lamps in this series let you stage your own light show, ironic and striking, within your interior in a virtuoso execution. The combination of meticulous craftsmanship with classic materials and modern lighting technologies will add touches of an easy-going attitude to life even in the most "rugged" of spaces.
