Blue and green multicoloured felt ball rug 140 cm Fritz - myfelt

Felt ball rugs have arrived at The Cool Republic: meet German brand myfelt, whose relaxed, fresh approach to design was bound to win us over.

Committed to fair trade, the Fritz collection is made from large felt balls, each one individually crafted by hand.

A genuine eye-catcher, its felt balls in shades of green and blue bring a lively, fresh breeze into your home.
As well as being an original piece, Fritz stands out for its sense of freedom and comfort.

Its round shape gives it a touch of originality: it will easily find its place at the centre of a living room or a bedroom, and its bright, cheerful colours will heighten that effect.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the finest of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

At the very start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a factory in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are approved by GoodWeave, one of the most important associations for a fair rug industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of more than 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting process specially developed by myfelt.

A beautiful decorative object made to the highest fair trade standards – now there's an idea that takes you travelling!
