Barocco originally refers to an irregularly shaped, perfectly imperfect pearl, rich in variations and sharing the same quality as wood, which also varies and lends a unique character to a uniform design.
Created by the talented designer Jonas Hoejgaard for the Scandinavian brand Nordic Tales, the Barocco designer pendant lights question the way we perceive the notions of solidity and fluidity.
Much like an ice cube shaped by the weather, the Barocco pendant light is formed by blown air and a change in temperature. The Bright Barocco lights thus appear to have been frozen mid-process.
Perfectly imperfect, the globe comes with a solid gold-plated brass fitting.
Each designer pendant light is a one-off piece, personalised by a glassblower and supplied with a certificate and the glassblower's signature.
