Maui Soft black upholstered chair - Kartell

The Maui Soft chair in black Trevira fabric is a seat released in 2012 by the famous Italian house Kartell. A tribute to the great Vico Magistretti and his iconic Maui chair (1996), this decidedly contemporary seat takes up the clean, soft lines of the Maui chair while dressing itself in beautiful coloured fabrics.

The Maui Soft model is made up of two elements: a chrome-plated steel tubular frame and a nylon monocoque shell covered in fabric. The shell is therefore produced in a single piece and requires no device (metal support, rib or protruding line) to hold up the backrest. Comfortable and functional, this made in Italy chair can be stacked up to 4 high and adapts to the demands of domestic settings (dining room, office, living room, etc.) and professional ones (conference rooms, offices, practices, etc.).

We love the delicate, quilted lines of this high-end made in Italy chair. Minimalist and elegant, the upholstered Maui Soft chair instantly enhances any interior! Whether placed on its own at a desk or in a set of 4 to furnish the dining room, the Maui Soft chair adds a touch of character to every room in the house.

Made up of functional and always design-led pieces, the Maui collection charms with its minimalist, timeless style. You will find the chairs and tables from this collection in their various versions at The Cool Republic.
