The CH36 dining chair by Hans J. Wegner is crafted with great attention to detail in a simple and functional design. This 1962 model bears witness to the influence of American Shaker furniture principles and craftsmanship on Wegner's work.
The legs of the CH36 taper slightly towards sol and, in the case of the back legs, also upwards, creating an elegant appearance. The backrest is clearly plus curved at the top and bottom to optimize back support. The overall expression is completed by the à la hand-woven frame and seat in durable paper rope. The chair is also available with armrests - model number CH37 - for added comfort and support.
