Materials: Woven by Gabriel, a company founded in Denmark in 1851, EASY’s fabric is made from recycled polyester derived from plastic bottles (75 to 98 per cent, depending on the fabric). The fabric is certified ‘OEKO-TEX 100’, a very stringent international standard regarding user health and environmental protection, and ‘EU Ecolabel’, the European benchmark for eco-designed products. The fabric complies with the ‘Martindale’ test, which measures fabric resistance and gives a score of 60, 000 to 100,000 for the EASY sofa – that is, 6 to 10 times higher than the required standard of 10,000.
The cushions are filled with recycled foam flakes (note: the seat is made of high-resilience ‘virgin’ foam manufactured in France). Finally, the sofa’s frame is made of steel, the most widely recycled material in the world and infinitely recyclable.
Details: unlike most sofas, whose components are bonded together using glue and staples, EASY is a model of recyclability: each component can be easily dismantled at the end of its life (steel, foam, fabric) for recycling.

Like all TIPTOE objects, the EASY sofa has been designed to last à la in terms of solidity, choice of materials and ease of maintenance. The powder coated steel frame is virtually indestructible. The fabrics from the Danish company Gabriel offer exceptional resistance to abrasion and rubbing.
The footrest Easy is available in 2 different finishes for the structure, 6 different colors of textiles.
