Originally introduced in 1938, the Little Petra was immediately acclaimed at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild exhibition, and was later awarded prizes at exhibitions in New York and Berlin. It is one of the few creations by architect Viggo Boesen, who has been associated with the aesthetics of the Danish design of the 1930s, known as the funkis style. The Little Petra chair is surprisingly small, able to fit into all kinds of spaces, interiors and environments. Based on the open and enveloping sol, it embodies the very essence of a lounge chair, allowing all kinds of seating assises in every comfortable setting imaginable.
Combine it with the Pouf & Tradition for an elegant lounge seating arrangement. Soft and comforting, the Pouf is an ideal companion. With its rounded oak or walnut legs and upholstery in a variety of fabrics, including sheepskin, it brings organic warmth to any interior.
