Hyg is an exclusive range of seating developed by Simon Legald, Normann Copenhagen's favourite designer, as part of his collaboration with this remarkable Danish brand. With the aim of creating furniture with a comfortable shell-type seat, Simon Legald's work focused particularly on the detail of the junction between the shell and its base.

Hygge is synonymous with well-being - security, warmth and comfort are part of its DNA, and it is precisely these qualities that provide the model for Simon Legald's Hyg seating series.

The ample silhouette of these seats exudes a primary organic purity. Its voluminous form is offset by a narrow contour, which refines and sharpens its expression. The high sides provide slight protection to the space, whilst a wide seat allows for a wide range of relaxed sitting postures.
